The Nest is a local treasure, one of those rare gems worth the trek. While we are somewhat local (Pensacola--just down the road a piece), it is such a treat to plan a trip to The Nest. Sandy, Rosa, and Mary are helpful and knowledgeable without pressure. I always leave with a smile but wanting to come back soon.

Visited this beautiful shop while on vacation in Gulf Shores. Quilt shops are scarce in this area of the state so finding The Nest was refreshing. The shop is bright and cheery with an inspiring selection of fabrics, patterns and notions. Sandy and Mary are very welcoming and helpful. If you want to learn to quilt, sign up for Mary's beginner's class as she is an excellent teacher, not only showing you the 'how' but the 'why' behind the steps to making a quilt.
