We had a wonderful visit to this farm on the volcanos shoulder. So lush, with beautiful plants. We learned just the right amount about coffee farming, roasting and brewing. And the coffee was delicious. The approach is up a steep switchbacked road, which added to the adventure.

I LOVED our private tour at Rooster farms coffee!! It was personable, educational and delicious trying 2 different roasts of their organically grown kona coffee beans. She freshly made pour over coffees for each of us to try and what a delicious way to taste all the flavours! Walking around the farm a little afterward was lovely and educational about the growing, picking and roasting processes!!Tara and teams communication prior allowed me to know it was small and intimate (also not appropriate for my mom who was having major knee pain problems who opted not to come, although they would have happily adjusted the tasting location or avoid stairs up to the house if needed:) My brother, his wife and their young kids came and enjoyed it as well as with my boyfriend and aunt...a family affair! Plus, my first couple cups of your medium roast coffee have been delicious in my aeropress since returning home, Ahhh taste of Hawaii! I wish I was back there already!! Will order again online after Im done with the bags I purchased on my trip! They accommodate your shipping as well! thanks Tara!!Meghan Ryan, ShineOnHealth Coaching:)

My family and I had a great experience at Roosters Farms in Kona! Mary Grace was a fantastic guide teaching us about coffee culture and the inner workings of their sustainable farm. With a perfect pour over, the coffee we tried was delicious! Tara and Ed - thank you for allowing us to visit!

One of my favorite Big Island experiences! The people who work on this farm are so friendly and welcoming.. and the farm itself is magical. Very unique and authentic 'non-touristy' thing to do on your visit to Hawaii. Absolutely loved it!
