Jack is a VIRTUOSO gun smith; world class. I would trust him to work on any of my firearms, any time! A couple of examples: I had a .375 H&H CZ Brno that I had Tefloned at an excellent gunsmith in Ct. He did quite a good job, but we had decided to Teflon the Bolt (bad idea at the time) and I got it back and found the single set trigger functioned erratically; NOT good for any rifle but especially a dangerous game rifle. I called Jack (not a previous customer) and he said he’d take a look. He tinkered with it for quite some time while I was there, and he explained the coating had worked into the mechanism and he had to reset everything. So, he figured out everything and got it functioning perfectly ever since!!! He also did a trigger job on my Ruger Alaskan in.44; he told me that it was impossible to get it feel like a Smith or a Colt, but he could improve it. Wow! I have a couple of Smiths, and I would say he gets it darn close; the single action is excellent and double is lighter and smoother. I’ve purchased firearms on special order and he got them in very good time on what he quoted!! He is also knowledgeable about hunting and, when he has time(!), fun to pick up advice from… Great service and a great store. Enjoy going there, even though it’s a bit of a hike from De. Highly recommend him.

The owner answered the phone when I called about where exactly was the establishment as it is not visible from the road. The owner hung up on me within 30 seconds but I was able to find the place. The staff there were very kind and tried to help me. Unfortunately they weren't able to answer my questions and understandably deferred to the owner's expertise. He initially started off ready to help but became irritated by my questions. He also used profanity at one point but context is important so it's important for me to explain that he didn't use profanity towards me directly. However my questions led to his frustration which led to him cursing. Even if he was able to truthfully and accurately answer my question, I would never purchase from him for anything. All of my experiences in gun shops have been good except this one. If I was new to firearms, he would have turned me off to them and people within our gun community.
