I haven't been to their range or purchased any gunsmith services, this is only a review of visiting the store and purchasing a firearm. I bought my first gun here in January, this year. I had never shot a gun or so much as held one, and I can't say I really fit in with the crowd here, but I felt welcomed! I chatted with the employee about video games, it's the little things that make you feel more like you fit in. I first visited the store and browsed the selection, and found one of their cheapest guns that I had been eyeing on the website, a Rock Island Armory M5 12 guage pump. The employee didn't know much about it, but I held it and came back the next week to purchase it. Very smooth transaction, quick background check, within 30-45 minutes I was walking out with a shotgun. All they had were rifled slugs, and the employee was confused as to whether they would work in a smooth bore or not, so I got the impression these guys mostly just care about rifles and handguns. Overall it was a great place and introduction to guns, but I wish they carried more ammo for shotguns, even if they cannot be used on their range, and some research into even the lower tier models would be helpful for entry buyers. Staff are knowledgeable on their products and the store has a pretty solid selection. Highly recommend taking your concealed carry course here. Class was very informative and well prepared.

Was in there recently to pick up an ordered item. The guys were awesome to work with and took care of me as soon as the person before me was handled. Jason answered questions and gave me some helpful tips. Good shop - will be back!

The CPL class I took was well given and did not wonder into entertainment. The instructors were professional and personable and took serious information and made it easy to understand. Id highly recommend taking a class here if a Michigan CPL is what you are after.

I typically do not leave negative reviews but it would be hard not to after my experience today. I spoke with someone on the phone and placed a 100 down payment on a gun I was reassured over and over was in stock. After the 2.5 hour drive and arrival to the store I was disappointed to see the exact model of the gun I specified I did not want yes a mini Draco vs micro Draco is not a large difference but when someone is willing to drive hours and spend over a thousand dollars in the store please make sure youre aware of what youre selling.
