The Modern Sportsman

I found a great deal on a Springfield Saint Victor from The Modern Sportsman. I vetted them through reviews like these on Google they were spot on! I live in NJ and needed to determine if they could ship a technically non compliant gun no problems. I called the store, spoke to a couple guys and they assured me they could ship to my local FFL for legalizing modifications. Shipping was quick and painless, rifle arrived in perfect condition. I would do business with them again!

Purchased a pistol on a friday afternoon, needed it sent asap, as it was a wedding gift. Called customer service to give them the ffl info, they said they would contact them , and it would be there in two days. Well they never contacted my ffl, and I found out today, it wasn't shipped. Will never purchase anything from this retailer again. Ridiculous..

As a new user who has been here a few times, The Modern Sportsman staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. I have asked what I consider to be the beginner questions they are probably asked repeatedly but, they respond as though it was the first time they've heard it. They have set me at ease and have given helpful suggestions that have boosted my confidence. Also, it is a bright and inviting environment - even the other customers are helpful and friendly. Having the rental option to try a variety of firearms for one price has been nice too. A great environment and experience overall.

My experience with the modern sportsman has been amazing. I purchased from them online, I placed my order read their policies and waited the time they said it would typically take for them to ship. My order went through but 4-5 days later never got any tracking info. I decided to give them a couple more days since I know everything is crazy right now. I sent them a follow up email out of curiosity to see what the status on my order was. Mariah answered my email pretty quickly, unfortunately the product I ordered was out of stock and to help me out gave me the choice of taking a really good deal or go ahead and cancel my order. I took the deal. She responded quickly, was super helpful and kind. The following day received tracking info, the day after that my firearm delivered to my ffl and today I go home with an amazing firearm.TLDR: Product I was interested in went out of stock after I ordered and Mariah provided me with outstanding customer service and support. I still purchased from them and am super happy with how she and the modern sportsman treated me as a customer. Would definitely buy from them again!

I ordered a firearm from another company and it was taking quite awhile with no communication from them, when I found these guys on gunbroker. Wow, in my own state I was so excited, placed an order had questions and they responded via email many times (phone rang and rang that wasnt the best). My order came very fast they gave me a USPS tracking number that was great, got my new EDC Hellcat FDE OSP and couldnt be happier until now. I noticed they had a Romeo Zero and I ordered that next and OMG tracking number and ETA and it came today one day early, Im ecstatic. A+ I will do a lot of business with this company in my home state, but if they were 1000 miles away same things they are the best, just need to pick up the phone more.
