I went in today (June 8th 2020) to look for a few specific weapons. They didn't have what I was looking for, so I started to browse their selection, and I was directed to a used DPMS 5.56. I was told by the man behind the counter that it had a small issue that the bolt will not lock back after the last round was fired, but otherwise it's a fully functional weapon. I thanked him for his up front honesty. He was pleasant to deal with. I was looking at the weapon and after working it a few times, realized that there was only two things that locked it back. The button that you push to release the bolt, and the bolt carrier. I brought the weapon to the counter and asked him if they sold parts. He said they did, and I asked if I could remove the upper from the lower on the counter. He told me that would be fine. After removing the upper and lower, I took out the bolt carrier and noticed that it was worn down where button would lock in place. I mentioned that I had a DPMS 5.56 at home and was interested in a second one. I asked if they sold bolt carriers and he said they did, and that their gunsmith had not tried replacing the bolt carrier. I started to ask if they had one in stock, when a tall, stocky white haired man loudly spoke over me. He informed me that their gunsmith, who is a former Marine, had function checked and reviewed the weapon, could not figure out why the bolt won't lock open, but it fires perfectly fine and is otherwise good to go. I started to mention that the bolt carrier was worn, and about the time I got to the word carrier he loudly interrupted me saying that all parts had been inspected and we're fine. His gunsmith tried replacing the bolt carrier and that is not the issue. He then repeated that the gun functioned just fine. I closed my mouth and put the bolt carrier back, putting the weapon back as I had found it and left. The gentleman who was helping me was a little bit shorter, glasses, and grey/black mustache. I have no issues regarding him or my interactions with him. He was honest and was answering my questions. The other gentleman who was tall, stocky and white hair with a cream colored had on, was very rude. I am former military myself, and was not once saying that there was anything wrong, just asking if they sold that part. My 18 year old son who was with me said it sounded like I was thinking about buying a bolt carrier and that gun. I was indeed. Until I was yelled at by some guy not even in our conversation. I had gone to this store on recommendation from someone at a big box store who said that this business usually had a good stock. I was floored to be treated this way. My review would be one star, but for the first gentleman I was working with.

One stop shop for guns, ammo, holsters .. Teddy and David helped me and I feel they are well educated, also one sound note is the price of the gun includes the buyers fees which is convenient. If they dont have what you know you want in store they can order and the turn around is quick! Personable, smaller shop and Im so glad I stopped in. With that said they are local and fair, this is where Ill buy again.

Purchased a AR-15 and some accessories. Treated well and prices were good. My daughter bought me a scope for Christmas. I went to Welburn's to buy a picatinny rail to mount scope. They installed rail and mounted my scope for me. Great guys.
