Defensive Firearms Instruction, LLC

Took their Conceal/Carry and Intro to Handgun. Both classes were great. Very informative and safety focused. Instructors were clear, straight forward, to the point, and very knowledgeable. I left both classes feeling far more confident in both theory and practice. Looking forward to taking another class.

If I could give six stars I would. I Went through defensive handgun 1. This class was safety first! On top of being one of the best classes I have ever taken. The instructors were excellent. The information was solid. And the training was professional.

Terrible experience. Towards the end of the handcuffing course, the instructor (who I think was the owner) asked the class to write out feedback, among other information. I filled out the information but I left the feedback part blank. I wasn't doing this to be defiant. I did this because I didn't have particularly strong feelings one way or another about the course: on one hand, there was some good informative content, but on the other, there were a number of exercises that I felt were a waste of time (after all, you're paying a hefty chunk of change to learn about how to use handcuffs, so got to fill that time with something, I guess.) Anyways, the instructor announced to the class that I had not filled out the feedback section (which, I guess he was watching to see if I did or didn't. Weird.) He then told the class that they would all have to wait to proceed until I had completed the feedback section. So all eyes were on the dunce who didn't fill out the feedback section. And everyone had to wait, as the instructor stood over me, until I was done. Which, last time I checked, feedback may be helpful information, but it's not essential, and a paying customer is not obligated to provide written feedback--at least not in any other businesses I've purchased services from.So look, I'd be lying if I said it was all garbage. Some of it was useful, for sure. But just hope that you don't get the creepy authoritarian guy, like I did. But instead someone who knows how to run a business. And that's my feedback.

Great instructors they make the class extremely fun and easy to focus and understand.
