We had an excellent time at TATS Training for my best friend's bachelor party. This was something right up his alley as he enjoys shooting, and competitive games such as laser-tag and paintball. For bachelor parties, they host quick 3-minute 2 vs. 2 matches in a 14 room (with walls changing every round for variety). Because the weapons are actual guns, using modified paint rounds, safety is top priority at TATS. The safety briefing is provided prior to gaming. Our instructor, Brandon, and the staff ensured a safe environment, all while providing a very fun experience. After our first round of matches, we took advantage of their special black-ops mode, in which lights are turned off with strobe lights turned on, providing a completely different experience. The base price for admission is very affordable, and you only have to pay for the amount of ammo you use (which can vary per person).I would like to note during conversation with the staff, he told me that although they were host bachelor parties, such as our event, they are a training facility first and foremost. They provide clients knowledge on how to responsibly use their firearms and how to handle various scenarios.We had a great time, and our group of friends look forward to another 2 hour drive from Jersey to take part in more fun experiences. Had an AMAZING!!! time at TATS. They hosted a private underground gunfight for my bachelor party. TATS provided and authentic force on force and close quarters combat experience far superior than any other. Highly recommend everyone to come check it out. You will not be disappointed.

This was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had. Came here for my bachelor party with a group of 13. We all had a blast. The staff were awesome and more than accommodating. Better than any paintball or airsoft, this is a truly unique experience. Also being a gun owner in NY you typically just shoot at the range, where here you get the experience of having to reload or deal with a possible jam all in the middle of combat. These guys are great, highly recommend it.

Highly recommend! Such a cool experience! My husband and I did 2 on 2 combat games with my 15 yr old son and 19 yr old nephew while visiting the Poconos. We had a blast. Brandon and his team are professional, knowledgeable and fun! They ensure that your experience is super cool, while maintaining safety at all times. We definitely recommend TATS, especially if youre looking for something different and cool to do in the Poconos with your family or friends. If youre a COD or Fortnite enthusiast, you will LOVE the combat games! Meanwhile, Im a housewife, and I had the BEST time! Lol. We are looking forward to visiting again soon. Google doesnt allow enough stars for what this place deserves. The Poconos is lucky to have TATS in its back yard. Being in the military I've used and trained with simuntion before. Its nice to be able to continue that training and do so with my civilian friends. Threat Assessment Tactical Solutions is a great place to hang out. The owner is an Air Force veteran and a retired Federal Air Marshal. The instructors are very knowledgeable. TATS IS constantly changing- and always for the better. New rooms are added or changed all the time and they all have cameras. This is awesome because if you arent training or playing, you can watch your friends on the huge TVs just outside the playing area. Changing the rooms up is incredibly cool because each time i go there it seems like a new experience. During classes, it keeps training value high but it also keeps special events/ Saturday nights Underground Gun Fights fair. I recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a fun Saturday night but I especially recommend it to gun lovers, police, military or those who are getting bored of shooting paper targets at the range.

March 23rd, 2019 was my first time going after being told I need to go for so long and was it worth it 100%. Just the underground gun fights alone showed how rusty my reaction times and full situational awareness are which is making me come back to train, improve, and be ready in a real life scenario. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the screens to watch the action are awesome, and the ever changing layout keeps the excitement going. This is THE PLACE to go for just some casual run and gun play or for scenario training and real life preparedness

Hands down one of the coolest things I've EVER done! I had my Bachelor Party come here and what an AWESOME, unforgettable experience this was for all of us. The staff was extremely nice, down to earth, fun and very professional at the same time. I will definitely be returning to do this again (several times) and HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE. In a word: unforgettable. I brought a group of about twenty guys to TATS for a bachelor party and we had an incredible time. Though we were an inexperienced group, the knowledgable staff made us feel right at home. We opted for underground gunfights instead of their tactical training, and got several awesome hours of adrenaline and fun.In each round, four people enter the arena using real firearms outfitted to shoot paint cartridges. The whole time we were there, our group had full use of the lounge. We could sit, eat, drink, and watch the 2 vs. 2 bouts on their HDTVs while the action was captured on closed-circuit cameras throughout the arena. Every person who participated would walk out of the arena amped up and loving it. Even the few who didn't want to take part in the shooting had an awesome time hanging out and watching the fun.This really is the next phase of combat-style recreation. A HUGE step up from paintball/airsoft/laser tag. I have never experienced anything like it - truly something special. I highly recommend this for anyone planning a party and fully intend to go back soon!

The level of professionalism and training they provide cannot be beat, not to mention how much fun we had! TATS picks up where a firearm purchase ends. I have been shooting and hunting for 30 years and I was shocked how unprepared I actually was for a high stress situation. Everything from clearing a jammed firearm during live fire to assessing and mitigating threats to car jacking was covered in depth during my 3 classes. These guys approach each class in a safe and controlled and structured manner that makes you be self aware as they point out the good / bad and wrong. In my case they took the time in re-training my stance that was resulting from years of long gun hunting, to a tactical stance which improved target acquisition & shot consistency. This is a serious topic and they use a disciplined approach, but they actually make it fun, smile and put you at ease. I recommend TATS and training to anyone that owns a gun or is considering purchasing one. A+ on the entire staff for making this place a destination in the area.

Stuff and Things

TATS is the place to go if you take training seriously. I've shot at paper and steel for years and thought I was ready for real world threats. If you own a gun for personal protection then you need Force on Force. TATS has 'Underground Gunfights' and everything I've learned in training I'm able to apply in the fun.

I go here with my boyfriend. Hopefully soon Ill be ready to join in the fun and then watch myself in action on their 24 different angled cameras on screen. No where else can you train like they train you at TATS. The owners and employees there are really great and tell you everything you need to know about Threat Assesment and Tactical Solutions. They go from a-z in explanation and if you have any questions theyre quick to help you out. Really great business and fun time too.TATS is the only true hands on training for threats and weapon handling. No where else in the tri state area, or even near the tri state area for that matter, can you use real weapons with sim rounds. If youre someone just looking to be prepared for any kind of threats, this is the place for you. If you are in some sort of career where it involves needing this kind of training(examples: emt, police man, security guard, park ranger), this is the place for you. If youre looking to just have a great time with some buddies, family, friends, or girlfriends; this is the place for you. If youre looking for hands on and visual training; this is the place to go.

I attended the force on freaks promotion at tats group. I cant say enough about the professionalism and accommodating nature of Brandon and his staff. Primarily started earlier this year as a force in force training facility for LE/CIV, the team at tats revamped their shoothouse to simulate a zombie apocalypse/ purge scenario. The only venue in the state of PA or surrounding states Im aware of that offers such a safe, fun and valuable training experience. I am moderately far from their location but I will be making more trips to their facility in the future for their quality training programs. Highly recommended.
