Great place with a lot of selection! Great prices on guns and the staff was friendly and helpful! This is the place to go!

I just walked in to buy coffee and it seems the only person that can run the register was a guy selling a shot gun. (Paperwork)I walked around for a little while with coffee in hand, no service. So, I put the coffee back and walked out. I guess the $15.00 I was going to give them wasn't enough. I got the feeling I'm not wanted there. I will never set foot in that store again. Sad thing is, I bought a lower there two years ago. There are plenty of other places to shop!

Would not recommend the gun store at this location. Bad customer service experience. The clerk behind the counter was speaking with another customer and only looked at me when I walked in. The young lady at a nearby desk was pleasant and said 'good morning sir' (too bad she wasn't the one running the gun store). There was only one other customer in the store and the guy behind the counter seemed to be engaged in a debate with him over who used to be the toughest.I walked over and stood at the suppressor showcase (the reason for me being there in the first place) for about 5 minutes, politely waiting for the conversation to end but it just went on and on; with the clerk bragging about how he used to be a bodyguard and nobody suspected him because he was 150 lbs. dripping wet. Lol! I decided to walk slowly around the store looking at other things, waiting for the conversation end and my turn. After another 10 minutes of walking around browsing, I made my way around to where the guy behind the counter was still debating, finally the conversation ended and the customer left. You would think he would want to help the next customer. You'd be wrong, he started looking at his phone without so much as a glance in my direction!By this time another customer walked in and started looking around. I went back over to the suppressor case waiting to purchase the new addition to my collection and waited for the clerk to help, look up, say or do something! I stood there another 5 minutes. The clerk still did not even acknowledge me. The other customer finally said something to him and he started a whole new conversation. I waited and waited and waited.... Finally I had enough and started walking out. The guy behind the counter finally saw me leaving and asked 'seen enough?'. I replied, 'I've seen enough' and walked out the door.I've only held one retail job in my life so I'm no expert in customer service but I do know when I'm being blown off. The first thing I was taught in retail was: always acknowledge the customer. Even if you're busy with someone or something else, acknowledge them and tell them you'll be with them shortly. If you want to buy from a store that appreciates it's customers, don't go to this place! I haven't gone to the Ft. Worth location , so I can't speak for the customer service there but I wouldn't recommend the Argyle location. I'll buy my new suppressor somewhere else...

Went in today to check out and ask some questions on ar15's. The person at the counter was very nice but I grew frustrated with some of the answers he was giving me. When asking what would be better, a gas DI or piston driven AR, I was told that the gas system was more expensive and better. From the research I have done, it seems a piston driven system is more expensive. After being showed a Springfield Saint Victor, I asked if it was Gas DI or piston. I was told it was piston. After looking at it more closely, I could tell it wasn't piston driven. I don't know if the salesman was either confused or didn't know what he was talking about, but I hesitate whether or not I will purchase a firearm from there.
