Field & Stream

Until today have been excellent. I've bought several guns, fishing supplies, etc. Was at the Florence Store earlier today looking at guns etc. Had 3 young guys at the end of the counter while I stood their wanting to look at a Golden Boy 17hmr. Finally after about 5 minutes one finally came and ask if he could help. I ask to see the gun and he got it down for me. As I was leaving I seen they had their Remington and Federal Shotgun shells on sale for dove season. The federal had a price on top of it's display while the Remington had an empty holder. I went back and ask the same young man the price, he followed me to the shells looked said he'd have to go get a scanner to check them and see. I stood their watch him walk back to his buddy pick up a pistol both looking at it. I waited and waited he never even acted like he was going to get a scanner. Him and his buddy opened a supply door went in the back and never came back. Finally a gentleman came by that I had purchased Kayak from last yr and ask if I needed help. He called the front desk got me a price in less than a minute. He left told me he would go have a talk with the young boy. Don't know what the kids problem was but all he wants to do is stand around I would suggest maybe Dick's/Field and Stream find someone who has been trained on customer service.

Took my new bow in to get it tuned and was very pleased. Steve the bow tech was very patient and gave me advice and took the time to properly set up my bow. Will go back when I get my son a bow!

Steve, the bow tech, did an incredible job helping me today. There is not a locally owned outdoor store in town now and I was very Leary if letting someone at a big box store help with my bow. However, Steve was outstanding! He did a great job helping get my bow tuned up to hunt. Will definitely go back to him again.
