I've bought several guns from Uncle Ed's over the past few years and they perform any maintenance that I can't take care of myself. I've worked with Jerry, Kathy, and Jacob. They are all very knowledgeable and have never steered me in the wrong direction. They will always be my local gun store.

I dont know why there are so many negative reviews, they have always been friendly to me. Maybe if you actually educate yourself before going into a gun shop you will have a better time.

I bought gun from them. I didn't take it home. They said I could keep it in there safe till I was ready to take the gun safety and law test. They never once told me after a certain amount of time they charge for storing my gun. They sold it and kept the money. I would have given them a no star review that wasn't a option on here. They were very rude and confrontational. Do not use them they are liars and dishonest people. They basically stoled $495.00 from me.

We hired Uncle Ed's Outfitters to clean and fully restore our guns that were salvaged from our devastating house fire. After a few years of the guns being kept in a gun safe and not fired once since the incident, we decided to clean them. After disassembling the firearms we found the guns to not be cleaned at all. There was still soot and old gunpowder inside every gun allegedly cleaned by Uncle Eds. I contacted the owner Kathy to simply notify her that the work claimed to have been done was not. She immediately denied having anything to do with the guns at all. After notifying her that we still obtained the invoice from the insurance company with their name on it, she told me that she personally had nothing to do with any of the guns and knows nothing about it.I was calm and polite the entire conversation. I only wanted to inform the owner of the company that who ever she had working for her had not done what they were hired to do. Kathy was hostile, rude and not willing to listen. She said, 'I don't know nothing about no guns.' She then hung up on me.One of the gun's barrel crowns are rusted due to the shocking lack of care that I expected from these alleged gun enthusiasts. I urge people to consider other gun shops instead of Uncle Ed's Outfitters if they care about their own guns.
