Truly great and amazingly extensive museum of the movie history of the Alabama Hills and Lone Pine/Eastern Sierra region. Great artifacts, a zillion original movie posters, and lots of fun popular culture items related to Westerns made in the area. Beautifully organized and displayed and labeled. Get a guide to the Alabama Hills here. Knowledgeable folks run it; Lone Pine Film Festival information and publications available.

A fun informative museum. Good way to spend an hour or so and enjoy a little information about the area.

I have driven by this museum about 100 times ND always dreamed of stopping one day. Well that day happened and we were quite surprised about how fun it was inside. There is a $5 donation to see. But it is cool and the bathrooms are clean. I loved seeing all of the movie memorabilia.

Great history of film made in the area. Definitely worth the $5 donation they ask.
