This a wonderful 'members only' gun club that hosts various events that are open to the public. It does have member elected officers voted on annually. It is near residents, with single road access where speed limits and hours of operation must be obeyed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR OUR MISSING FATHER! This is Paul Merrills daughter, Aimee Merrill. I am convinced we can find my dad if the word gets out to all sports/outdoors enthusiasts, hunters, and residents of the McCloud- Mt. Shasta Region! The official search and rescue effort finished after 7 days this weekend. But we are not willing to give up! We are working off of a positive identification lead by a bow hunter on Friday night 9/5/14 and again Saturday 9/6/14 or Sunday. The classic Mercedes 190SL convertible was seen on the side of Hwy 89 ten miles east of McCloud Friday after dark. No person was seen. Later that wkend the same people saw my Dad walking at the McCloud River between Cattle Camp and Fowler campgrounds near camp 4 or what the locals refer to as Dynamite Hole. No car was spotted. However, it is very possible that my Dad put the beige car cover over the car to protect it from the elements. So please be on the lookout for a small sports car under a beige cover as well as the grey convertible pictured in the flyer. Dads 1956 Mercedes 190SL had huge sentimental value and was symbolic because 1956 was the year he and my Mom married. Last year my mother passed and Dad was recreating romantic memories they had shared at the McCloud Hotel when he stayed there Wednesday night. He intended to get away from the phone and write their annual Christmas letter and convey his sentiments about the passing of his beloved wife. But he was not depressed by all accounts; my sister who helped him pack up at our childhood home in Belmont, the McCloud inn keeper, Nancy, who interacted with him extensively the morning he checked out, both say he was talkative and in good spirits. My 87 year old Dad was naturally declining but is handsome and very healthy for someone his age. He is 5 10 tall, weighs #160, blue eyed and has white hair over his ears. He was an Eagle Scout, US Army Ranger, avid fly fisherman, and hunter in his heyday. We are hoping and praying that his fellow lovers of nature and good Samaritans help us search and bring Paul Merrill home. Thank you to those too numerous to name who have already lent a hand in this effort. God bless you.
