Extremely fun hikes. The map you get at the visitors center wasnt that great.

Such an absolutely wonderful place to spend the day, and there is a campground you can stay at during the night. There is free, limited day parking, and you can pay for parking closer to the beach. We did the James Irvine Trail, which is about 4.5 miles to the beach, so if you plan on doing the 9 mile round trip, be prepared and bring plenty of water. It is seriously one of the most amazing places to hike, you feel like you are in a different world. Everything is so beautiful and green, the trees are huge, the silence is wonderful, and the smells are surreal. Such a magical place. Please respect this park, and do not litter or create sound pollution<3

What an amazing park, well worth exploring and getting lost in these magnificent redwoods

Beautiful park. Nice hikes from the camp site, through the red woods. We (family of five) stayed in cabin 1, which had enough space for us, and it was very clean. Make sure to bring air mattresses (and sleeping bags), otherwise you'll be sleeping on solid wood!Bathrooms are in need of an upgrade, especially when compared to the state parks we visited in Oregon this summer. You'll be seeing some elks during you're stay: we woke up to a herd of 12 males grazing around the cabin!

Nice place. Easy access from 101 highway and nice hikes. Impressive trees.
