He has both CA and Federal firearms licenses and if you buy a gun from Jim you have the opportunity to fire it at the time you pick it up and get training at the same time. This is not something you will get at nearly all gun shops and the ones that do have ranges they might let you fire a few rounds. Jim will spend the time needed so you are comfortable with your new gun.Jim is an straight shooter. As an inexperienced female shooter it was great to have two instructors that are very knowledgeable about shooting. They also are very patient and don't make you feel intimidated and I always feel safe and comfortable. Every time I go there to practice I learn something new and get better at my shooting. The range is also set up to accommodate shooters with all different firearms, so I am able to be instructed on both my pistol and also my husbands long guns.Another thing that is great is though they hold classes at certain times if it doesn't work into your schedule they will help by trying to accommodate a class to fit your schedule.The classes are very affordable that usually take a full day, but always includes a delicious meal. They have classes for everyone from beginning to the most experienced. Eventually I would like to get my CCW (Concealed Weapon) permit, which I will be able to get from Red Dog Firearms.
