Bastiani Arms

My Browning Buck Mark lite 5.5 has a fiber optic front sight. The rod came back from browning broken, not expensive, not a big deal. I began searching for the size of the rod because I planned on buying replacements and installing it myself or paying for installation. I spoke with Browning, they wanted me to return the gun and charge me for the fix. I spoke to HiViz (maker of sight) and they said they had to return my call later. I even went to the store I bought the gun from, they said it would cost me about $25 and that Id have to come back another day. I then stopped by Bastiani Arms and within a minute or two, the owner himself took my buck mark, asked me what color I wanted, and had a new rod in it in no time. Then he showed me this really cool looking 2 color rod and offered to put that in it. So once again, he worked on it, took out the green rod and threw in a color combo I hadnt ever seen before. He didnt want a dime for the part or the labor! I will be spending money at this store soon because I must pay them back. After speaking with the owner, it is clear to me that this store cares more about your freedom than they do their own pocket books. Freedom to own and operate constitutionally backed firearms. He even began working on a maglock that could be sold at a fraction of the price that most are sold at. Unfortunately, AR-MAGLOCK decided to completely railroad the whole plan and bullied this locally owned small store. AR-Maglock forced Bastiani to come up with h undreds of thousands of dollars to even begin the process of continuing their much needed work. The owner of Bastiani could not discuss these matters, however there is enough info online to read the full story. Folks, its time we stand up against places like AR-MAGLOCK. I encourage you to email them and let them know that they are not only stealing from a small business, they are stealing your freedom to own and use sporting rifles legally. I will continue to shop at Bastiani Arms for many reasons, prices, products, customer service, location, employee knowledge etc.
