I've known Robert for about 25 years. I bought my first custom sights from him at a gun show. Robert is the only gunsmith in Florida that I trust to work, and keep my guns safely in his shop until they are finished with the work. Robert has been a well known citizen of the city, and the areas around it for more years than I can remember. I highly recommend him to all my friends, and neighbors. I'm also a state certified weapons instructor who also recommends him to all students. A very honorable person, with knowledge to do the best work on a firearm you will ever find.

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I went to this place to do some upgrade to my AR15. The result was catastrophic. The rifle could not fire more than 2 shots without stumbling ... and sometimes fully automatic. Also I paid to zero my red dog ... and this one was so far to the left that it didn't even hit the target.

I have alway wanted to own an M1911 and when I finally purchased one, i was extremly thrilled and even though it was'nt one of the most popular ones, I was thrilled nonetheless. However, I wanted it give it a make over and designed to my liking; wanted to doll it up a bit. After a few days of looking around & reading reviews, I found Miami GunSmiths. I took my 1911 and spoke to the owner 'Robert' and went over what I wanted more or less. Without hesistation; he went straight to the computer screen and started looking up Grips, Sights and Cerakote Colors, etc. He also said that he will take a look to insure all functions of my 1911 were fully functional and in good form prior to any work. 'Safety comes First' I was told that i should have my gun back with 3-4 weeks and I was fine with that. While waiting Robert was kind enough to send me photos of the work being done and if anything needed to be replaced he would sent me a photo of it (Grips Screws needed replacement). This was excellent, to recieve photos of the work being done, was comforting. 2 1/2 weeks later, i was notified that the 1911 was ready and man was it. I am so very happy the way it turned out, I may never shoot it! (that's not true, I'm shooting it!' But the work made it look like new and it is sexy! I want to that Robert and Miami Gunsmiths for the Great Customer Service and Professionalism. You made the process easy and the work a Picasso. Thank you yet again. I hope to see pics of my 1911 on their instagram account or website! God Bless and Semper Fi
