Surprised at the nice selection of firearms in the current climate. Staff was helpful and friendly with exception of the mgr Cody . We were looking at several handguns and had a very inexperienced new gun shopper with me. He had decided on a particular gun and I asked if slide could be removed as I wasnt up on this model and didnt want to try myself. He responded that the guns come perfectly assembled from the manufacturer and there is no reason to open a gun. There are many reasons I can think of why you would in fact inspect a gun and he said if we purchased it then we could open it up. I disagree with that logic and he reluctantly quickly did as I requested and then quickly replaced slide and remarked happy now?So maybe someone was having a bad day. I dont know but when I have a simple request before a 700+ purchase I would expect a little more courtesy. Telling customers that all firearms are perfectly assembled from the manufacturer is really naive. A good shop educates the customer and provides answers to reasonable and pertinent questions.Now I personally could not careless about my friends choice of gun as he was looking at a very reputable manufacturer. I was concerned that it might be something difficult for him to properly service and that was why I requested slide removed. I normally dont write negative reviews but with the record gun sales environment I expect decent customer serviceespecially from someone in management. Poor example being set for rest of staff.Now as for my buddy he is probably going to purchase that particular firearm but Cody just lost that business at a minimum 2 gun purchases from me on things I saw today. The entire shop wasnt a problem just my interactions with this one individual so dont skip this place because I wrote this. Just dont ask to remove a slide from something you are going to buy. You lost yourself a g19 sale today and I wasnt even shopping for myself on purpose.

Was told my gun would be in two to three weeks then told at a later date didn't know when the gun would be here not a very good way to run a business stand behind what you say is my motto this business dose not and acts like it is not a big deal
