Red Dot Arms

Bought two firearms from from them and was satisfied with both items. I found the guy extremely knowledgeable and helpful- both times. However out of shear desperation for upcoming nationals I went to them a few days ago for 9mm ammo. It looked like an off brand target load and kind of generic packaging. I asked the guy about the quality and explained to him if we couldnt find any more 9 before next week wed be forced to use theirs. He said it was good and they shoot it all the time. I trusted their opinion based on previous experiences. We found out today that this ammo is dubious at best. 20 rounds in to the box we had a few issues with them cycling. Another 10 rounds were find and they more issues. While looking at the carbine my son went off to shoot his coaches well maintained 1911. Three shots in and the gun jams. They fired the round to clear and started trying to clear the spent round. It was a challenge and in the end the spent Red dot target round brass had massive blemish around its circumference. I was irritated at my son for loading some of the target load in someones elses firearm but there it is. I knew before they got it out it was that target load. Seeing the GFL initials my stomach dropped. 15.00 a box is a rip off but I needed it and in the end I like to support local business. All that said Im stuck with ammo I cannot trust and of course you cant return ammo. I thought about contacting the store to let them know but it can be easily dismissed. I dont think Red Dot is a bad business but selling junk reloads (remanufactured) for .30 cents a round is is a little shady.

Today I finished my CCL training and completed my application less than 2 hours after leaving the course. I came in a day ahead of classes for fingerprinting done by Steve. The first class with Steve and the second class with Michel the owner. Both were patient, informative and very likable guys. I bought a Ruger LCP II on their website and used their FFL service for 2 other purchases. All very pleasant exchanges. I thank you Michel for providing this valuable training service that is needed now more than ever.

I just completely the ccl cert training. It was very professional and informative, yet refreshingly fun. Loved shooting outdoor. Looking forward to more trainings here. If anything, it beats $20 an hour indoor shooting range, plus interaction with responsible folks who have the same interest!

Was at the post office near by. Was looking for a notary and the post office didn't have one. A guy who worked at red dot who was also at the post office told me about Steve at red dot and he was right up the road. When I went in I was treated very well and when asking how much for the notary signature Steve said on the house. Honestly id give more stars if I could.

I bought a Springfield 911 .380 ACP from them. Price was good and the employees were polite, professional and very friendly. Highly recommended.
