Im giving them 2 stars solely based on my transfer experience. If you are going to buy a gun in the store people are friendly and good selection of everything. With that said, I bought a gun during a sale and filled out the paperwork to start 72 hour wait. In parallel I bought a gun on gunbroker and wanted it transferred to Marengo. Reason being, they could have added it to my current purchase and I would only have to make one additional trip (1.4 hours round trip). After phone calls and two emails I gave up and used a local ffl. This is not the first time with me having to make multiple phone calls and emails for a transfer. Again if you are looking for a good selection of firearms and accessories they are well stocked. For transfers, I will never use them again.

To all the crybabies this is the type of gun store where they leave you alone and let you walk around for hours if you wanted to without bothering you if you need help or want to purchase something put your big kid pants on an go to the desk an ask for assistance they are not going to follow you around asking you a bunch of questions like Walmart or can I help you every aisle you go down this is why us experienced gun lovers like this place we know what we are looking at if you need somebody to hold your hand because your a amatuer or dont know anything about guns go to cabelas or gander outdoors an get upcharged 30% or learn your guns from Google or YouTube an then go into marengo guns an get a great deal

After speaking to Management and working out the miscommunication , I have chosen to truly change my review. The new experience I have encountered with management was definitely worth it, and I got to say - gives me a lot of relief. They have my firearm ready for pickup, and even gave me a generous gift card as a whole - hearted Gesture. A lot of my family has purchased from this business, and referred me.
