As a new Greenwood resident and a longtime employee of a gun shop in the Chicago area, I had to stop by the local gun shop. I had a recommendation from my former Galco (holster company) rep to check them out when he heard I was moving to Greenwood. The shop was exactly what I expected. Small, long-term, family owned, full service gun shop. The employee (George) and owner (Jason?) with whom I talked were both very knowledgeable and friendly and did their best to answer any questions I asked. They even recommended where else I might shop when looking for certain items which they didn't carry and also where I could go to shoot. My only reason for less than five stars was the fact I didn't actually go there for a purchase, so when that happens, I'll review them again.

Overpriced guns. Rude staff. And the likelihood of getting lung cancer just walking in the place.

Wanted a gun that was hard to get at the time. They got one for me at a good price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't notice any smoke and the dog was great.

Everything is marked up. The meatheaded staff are rude and distrustful. Its like they really dont want to make a sale. They claim to be gunsmiths but they refuse to do simple work if its not highly profitable. Very unwelcome atmosphere.
