Gary is incredibly patient, especially with a beginner such as myself. He is encouraging and supportive. The pastoral setting, including the warm greeting by the resident Australian Shepard as you drive into the property, puts you at ease and allows you to concentrate and learn. Highly recommended, you need not look elsewhere for firearm training.

My husband and I took the Defensive Pistol 1 course today. Mr McInturf, owner and instructor made everyone feel at ease right from the start. He patiently answered our questions during and after the presentation. Following the presentation we went out to the obstacle course. He inspected our weapons and then took us safely through each shooting scenario individually (shooting around the corner, when someone is coming towards you, shooting while lying in bed). You will be surprised how little you really know about home protection and safety. I strongly encourage everyone to take this class. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I will go back for more of his classes!!!!

I took the Defensive Pistol 1 class on Saturday November 3rd 2018. The Owner/ Instructor Gary McInturf is well qualified and very professional. He helps to make you feel comfortable taking this course.The defensive pistol 1 class is informative, fun and low stress all while pushing you to be successful protecting you self and you home. The activities are designed to simulate what could happen and help prepare you in case of a home invasion.McInturf Firearm Traning LLC. has an onsite classroom and firing range together along with a covered area for other training activities.I look forward to taking other firearm training classes Thanks Gary
