Refinished my well worn kimber1911 was extremely happy with finish gun looked better than when new ,already dropped off another handgun .Great work well worth price cannot recommend high enough!

Had a pistol coated for my wife. Spent more on the cerakite job than I did the gun itself but I was ok with that. When I picked the gun up I wasnt really pleased with the way the finished product looked but concede that I requested a challenging pattern (the slide is houndstooth). It lacked definition in the recesses of the serrations and there was overspray from poor masking. I wasnt displeased when I first got the gun back but within 2 months I became very displeased because the finish wore off in several places. Keep in mind this is my wifes gun, it normally stayed in a pocket holster in her vehicle console and only occasionally carried either in her purse or in a fobus holster. The finish began wearing off literally the first time the gun was holstered. Cerakote is advertised as a protective coating but this cerakoted gun has worn to bare metal simply by being carried. The factory finish would have held up a lot better. All in all I am very disappointed in the whole ordeal.

I NEVER leave reviews on anything, but KY Gun coatings did such an awesome job on my Beretta that I felt compelled to give them the credit they deserve. This pistol was found in a storage building, rusted beyond my capabilities. They cleaned it up, did a contrasting color Cerakote coating and now it looks better than new, functions flawlessly, and all for a fair price.

Have used Rick twice and he has done a super job each time. 1st time I sent an old Dan Wesson 45 to him and it came back just beautiful. Had it done in Satin Mag and Graphite Black. Next sent a Taurus 45 and had it done in OD Green and Fall Camo. Again, came back great. Will be sending a Henry up to him in the near future. If you need someone to Cerakote your treasurers this is the guy. Stands behind his work.
