Shade Tree Hunting & Pawn

I have done business with them several times over the last few years. Wether buying from them, or pawning something temporarily if something comes up, & I need to extra cash till payday. I had previously always been treated with respect. I have always picked up anything I have pawned. Every single time. Today I drive 25 miles to get there, needing to pawn the same computer I have several times before, without any issues. I had to pay for vehicle repairs, two days after Christmas, and needed the extra cash for groceries for my kids and I, until payday. I go in today and he tells me that well, 'It will take too long to plug it up, to make sure it works'! Really... your denying a good customer, the service you advertise and offer... just because you don't feel like waiting the 2-3 mins it takes to power it on? It's new, it doesn't take more an that amount of time. Less time than it would take to throughly check out a larger item. Needless to say, I will not be shopping here anymore, and I will take my business elsewhere. I wasted money for gas and my time, because I obviously needed the extra money, or I wouldn't have come in, knowing it will cost me the fees that you gain from doing the business deal. I hope you are happy. Keep in mind, that not all people pawn items for drugs or something. Some people do have a legitimate need for places like pawn shops, when they work hard, and just run short from time to time. Your choice to not look at an item, because you don't feel like waiting the 2-3 mins it would have taken effects more people than just yourself.

I agree with most of the one star reviewers. Overpriced and not the best people as far as customer service to deal with at all!

Prices were over a 1/3 higher on ammo. Deer season yes, but a box of rounds that is normally $37-$41 shouldn't be priced at $60+. That was all I saw, frustrated I left. They may have some reasonable prices, doubt I will enter again!
