My wife and I have NEVER had a bad experience with this shop. The MD location can get a little crowded at times but that's the worst of it. The WV location is AWESOME. MUCH larger, well-lit, very friendly, knowledgeable and PATIENT staff. My wife and I are fairly new to firearms, though we do have a LITTLE understanding and the Hafer's staff spent a LOT of time with us working through info, options, accessories, etc. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!!

I've been to Hafer's gun shop several times,for gunsmith work and to purchase,guns and ammo. I've never been disappointed. There selection is the best around, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. As far as I'm concerned they are the best gun shop around.

I had a great first-timer experience at Hafer's! The staff were very knowledgeable. The HQL class was exceptional. Our instructor was concise, thorough, and illustrated his instruction with stories which were often humorous but really got the message across about being a responsible citizen and gun owner.
