Terrific owners and staff. They obviously have a passion for educating and serving their customers. I took their HQL training, which was well done with a strong emphasis on safety and discerning the right type of firearm to meet individual needs. Lots of hands-on time given with different types of handguns. They could have stopped there and given me my money's worth, but they didn't. They also took the extra time necessary to make sure everyone's paperwork for the State license was in order. I highly recommend Geared Up and will definitely be doing business there moving forward!

I needed to call for a simple question that everyone from shop owners to police were short and rude with me and I still got no answers. I called geared up figuring someone could answer my question. i am a 55 year old female with ZERO weapon experience. i have always been very fearful of guns and never held one -- never wanted to. our current environment of unrest and shaky future, hubby and i bought 2 shot guns. i shot both. we will inherit my father in laws' collection of guns also. with this in mind, i signed up for the hql class so that i can be educated, knowledgeable and legally able to inherit his weapons. i want to no longer be fearful of guns.john told me to follow on facebook because sometimes last minute class openings are posted there. BINGO! got in a class within a week of my request due to these last minute postings.everyone is so very nice. i was comfortable with everything and everyone. highly recommend regardless of demographic -- young, old, female, male EVERYONE IS WELCOMED HERE. class is very basic and for all levels.strongly recommend. thanks to all of you at Geared Up!!
