These guys were great to work with the first time, so I came back to make another purchase. I made a mistake on my end this time around and they were extremely helpful in working with me to remediate my issue. I sincerely appreciated all the help today and this is definitely a great group to work with. 5 stars without a doubt!

Will NOT go back to Oakland Tactical, I purchased parts to build a complete AR upper and being that I was purchasing all the parts necessary to assemble it they offered to put it together for no additional cost while I wait, after paying for everything they informed me it would be an hour or two before they can get to putting it together (not while I wait) and I don't live close either, after killing enough time I got the call to pick up my upper fully assembled. After getting it home I noticed that the upper receiver had a scratch in it, the muzzle device was not properly tightened and the hand guard was missing the locking assembly! A few days passed and I drive back over there 40 minute drive just for them to find an extra hand guard lock in the back to put on, wouldn't do anything about the scratch or the inconvenience even though it was all failures on thier part. Moral of the story is if you are going to spend almost $1000 on gun parts DON'T do it at Oakland Tactical and take your money to someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Traveled to Oakland Tactical from Lansing. Could not find anyone who was able to service us the way they did! Very pleased with our first visit. Super friendly staff members, and great variety within the store. It was a little bit of an inconvenience that their credit card machine was having issues, so we did have to pull cash from the ATM next door. But we didnt mind much. Will definitely be back for future services/purchases!

Really enjoy this store. Very nice and non- pushy staff. Prices are on par with other brick and mortar stores, but there sales are great. I often walk in, ask what's on sale, and end up buying something. They have a little bit of everything for everyone...home/self defense, tactical and hunting. I came in the other day asking for a specific holster for a specific use...which they didnt have on the shelf. Instead of selling me something I didnt want or need, they recommended a customer holster place to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. They wanted me happy in lieu of making a sale....that's why I'll keep supporting them and other local stores.
