I love shopping here you never know what you going to find. The owner is great friendly helpful all around great guy.

My one visit at 3:30 pm.While it closes at 4, stock is locked up by 3:30, Owner doesn't even acknowledge you're there, if you show up past 3:30 took my $$$ elsewhere.

RC was very informative and patient. Even hooked me up with a free hat with my purchase! Undoubtably an outstanding business owner. Thank you RC! 'We the people.'

I have visited Hellebuyck's three times now. The first time was curiosity, the two subsequent visits were to purchase firearms. Both purchases were pleasant experiences and RC is a super nice guy and he will not make you feel badly if you are new to firearms. My first purchase was a used handgun which turned out to be a good deal and a solid firearm. My second purchase was a new pistol. I wanted to avoid the difficulty of making this purchase at big box store (a recent purchase at a big box store took 3 attempts and more than 6 hours that I will never get back). I remembered what a great experience the Trading Post was so I headed out (it is more than 50 miles from my home). Calling in advance they put the gun aside for me. When I arrived, I was able to purchase the gun, extra magazines and self defense ammo (for a different firearm) including the background check the whole thing took less than an hour and during that time they handled my transaction and other customers, we had some nice conversation and I left a satisfied customer. Another thing about this place, they are super knowledgeable and I cannot stress this enough, NOT gun snobs.They're lucky this place isn't in my neighborhood, because I'd be cluttering up the place all the time.Lastly, for me at any rate, it's a gun store with an antique shop inside.Keep on keeping on!
