Some gift shop customers are forced to wear masks while others are not! It all depends on whether or not you know the cashier who is on duty at the time! My party was forced to wear the masks while the group who came in 10 minutes later, with a different cashier, were not required to wear masks, after the woman in the group acknowledged knowing the cashier! I will not be back!De Smet, SD offers far more Ingalls/Wilder things to visit and view, without forcing customers to wear a mask!

The buildings were great to look through. Lots of information about the real Laura and family as well as the tv show.

Not much to see, gift shop was nice, not much to see for museum, all little buildings were locked up.

This is an amazing experience, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend going with the family it was an all around great day!
