It was a warm spring afternoon as I traveled northbound on I-35 when I spied the large billboard proclaiming 'Gun Superstore' at exit 92. I exited there and pulled into Casey's General Store for a cool drink and a look at the Google maps app and found I was less than a mile from Bull's Eye Trading LLC, so I eased the big rig into gear and made my way to the store which is a combined guns, pawn, and payday loan operation. Plenty of room to pull into the gravel parking lot with the tractor-trailer, but I went slow to not kick up too much dust. I was greeted with friendly 'hellos' from the 3 ladies behind the counter with an offer of help. 'Just saw your big sign out on the highway and thought I'd check y'all out', I told them. They were cool with that and let me survey the goodies in the pawn section: coins, jewelry, guitars, electronics, lots of power tools, even a fancy, silver trimmed western saddle. Then I missed over to the gun shop portion of Bull's Eye Trading. They have a pretty sizable assortment of longguns, both rifles and shotguns, a whole wall covered with handguns plus plenty of accessories. Colton Castleberry, the store manager, is an affable young man willing to talk about his large inventory. He helped me with my selection of a red dot sight for one of my rifles, showing me how each of them functioned. Good service, friendly folks and competitive prices allow me to whole heartedly recommend you stop by Bull's Eye Trading off I-35 exit 92, in Bethany, MO next time you're passing through. I bet you'll find something you gotta have!
