I found Ian McFarland and his Modern Weapon Systems quite by accident. Because they have just recently moved to this location, they can not yet be found in a regular google search for an armory in the Saint Louis area. I sincerely hope this matter is rectified SOON. We had been looking for another armory that is no longer in existence and has been replaced by an auto repair shop. The people at the auto repair told us that there was a gun shop next to Chuck's Boots in Fenton. When we got there, I was pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere and friendly owner of this business. Unfortunately, he was out of stock of the weapons that I wanted and he told me he would phone me as soon as he received a shipment, which was just two days later.I went back to this store ready to purchase my weapons on Saturday 13th June, and I must say that I received fabulous service from Ian McFarland himself, as well as his staff. It is not very often that you get this kind of service anymore, so I was quite taken aback. I had done my rounds of the various armories around Saint Louis and I was not a happy chappy, to say the least. But here at Modern Weapon Systems, it was a whole different ball game. The level of the personal service I received was the best ever. He taught me the basic operation of the two weapons I purchased...and that was with a shop full of people on a Saturday morning.I would like to say a big thank you to Ian and his staff for the wonderful service they provided for me. The friendliness and proficiency, level of help received and the little things that make shopping at a store made me a customer for life. I will definitely be back here in the future and I will not be looking at any other armories again for my weapons purchases. My running around has come to an end. Thank you guys and gals for helping this old girl the way you did. I cannot even find the words to tell you how impressed I was and am.
