Contacted John in regards to several hard to get handguns I was interested in and got a fast response. I was impressed he told me he could get me hard to get items. I was about to place an order until I found another gun that was just released recently from the manufacturer and at another direct custom shop. I changed my mind and asked if he could do an FFL transfer and was very accommodating and the transfer was seamless. Such a pleasure to do business with and a true gun enthusiasts looking to help the long Island firearms community out. Highly recommend and will continue to do business with Platinum Firearms. Can't recommend enough.

I am not one to write reviews typically, but I feel compelled to letting others know what a great experience I had with John at Plantinum. I am the type to research and utilize the internet on anything I am looking to purchase. Then I will try to find what I am looking for to verify my findings and buy locally to support the 'little guy' not box stores. With that said, I had been looking around and stopped in to a few places to see the product and also see if I liked where and who I was purchasing from. What I found overall was testosterone laden places with some very helpful and some not so helpful people. So, I was not too keen on making (in what I considered) a large dollar purchase purchase from these local shops. I then found Platinum Firearms and contacted John. I explained what I was looking for and he told me he will try to find one from his distributors and let me know the price. He got back to me right away, price was better than what I had been finding and we ordered it. Product showed up in a day or two and I picked it up at my convenience. I had a good conversation with John in his office as if I had known him for a while. He is a pleasure to talk with, is very professional, responds immediately, and wants to be sure you are happy with what you buy. If you don't need a 'walk in' shop, filled with people and nonsense and have a basic idea of what you want (or just want direction/opinion) contact John. I had the perfect experience and will not go anywhere else for my firearms anymore.
