I love this store! It's has everything you would need and probably more for any Adirondack or mountaineering adventure! Staff is very pleasant and helpful. It's neat to even just walk around and look at all the gear, clothes, books etc. Also you can rent gear which is nice. For me it's a must stop every time I'm in the Adirondacks!

The best store for outdoor gear within a 100 miles!! Recently helped me fit boots exactly to my feet and when I later had an issue with a shoelace they literally sent me two new pairs until the manufacturer could replace them with the original style. I stop there every time I head north and have been a customer for more than 18 years. Highly recommend them for the quality of their products and their customer service !
