Today was an eye opener. I sent a friend there a couple weeks ago to buy his VERY FIRST Handgun. He lamented to me how inconvenient it was for the staff to help him. He mentioned a young lady and young guy were working there. I never had experienced that kind of service there. They wrote the wrong serial number of his gun TWICE and had to get it corrected in Erie County. He is the one that double checked when he got home. Imagine that arrest.I went today when there were only three customers in the store. My kids gave me a great gift certificate for father's day. Truly acted like they were doing me a favor by telling me that most guns are out of stock and probably can't get any in. Didn't even try to sell me or show me anything. I made a conscious effort to buy my firearm and hunting gear from a local, changing my mind.

Charlotte and Carly were very helpful. Went out of their way to text me photos before I made purchase. No hassles, unlike some other places I've visited in the last month.

Not very welcoming to minority customers based on my experience. However they did have reasonable prices for what I purchased. Sadly there customer service and attitude towards others come from and era I hoped we had moved on from in America.

I bought my first shotgun about a few weeks ago and they had really great service. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and I would definitely go there again! Johnson's deserves 5 stars for sure!

Went there looking for a specific hand gun. When I asked about it the guy took me over to the case and said these are what we have and then walked away. I waited 5-10 minutes he came back on the phone and asked what caliber. He took one out and handed it to me (still on the phone). So I checked it out and asked if they took trade ins. He asked what I had, I told him and he said I don't need shot guns. I understand that, but I found the same gun 80 dollars cheaper at gun center, and he said he'd drop it 20 and that's it. He was very short and not personable at all. I've tried going there a couple of times over the years and every time it's the same kind of rude, short service. I'm not going back unfortunately. Maybe I expect too much from a small business. The selection was alright, as far as what they had, but the service (to me) was sub par.
