I love both my 9 and 10 foot high rise! My 9 foot is at a northern home, my 10 ft at Jersey shore! At 66 its light weight and easy for me to handle on my own! Thank you Peter Hornbeck for adding your signature to my canoe!

If you are looking for a canoe that can float in a few inches of water and weighs under 16lbs look no further! Hornbeck boats are designed for lakes, streams and small waterways. Made of Kevlar or Kevlar and Carbon, these boats are amazing ! I have a teak lip on mine and we have hundreds of miles of shared time, paddling through the Adirondacks. Each boat is handmade in Minerva,NY (Exit 26 on the Northway.)

The boats are the lightest. Josh taught me new methods for getting in and out. The paddle sliced through the water with ease. I bought both, so I can certainly recommend, if that's what you want. Well off the beaten track, but that's a good thing.
