Went with Infectious based on customer favored status on the Cerakote website. The guys are great to work with, super responsive, and their work is exceptional. I wanted a subtle black multicam and had only a hat as inspiration to guide Matt. They exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Infectious Design for all your Cerakote needs.

The guys at Infectious Design have done a lot of work for me, and I couldnt be more happy. They have worked on everything from tools to firearms for me, and the results are always fantastic. The level of skill in their work and the attention to detail is unparalleled. I will continue to use this company for all my coating needs.

This was my Colt 1911 Centennial which I purchased during my '11-'12 tour in Afghanistan. Shortly after I received it, I had it coated by a local shop in Texas which had turned it from a stainless steel to a brownish-purple color (was going for the Sig Spartan bronze, but after three tries I called it quits). It stayed hidden from public eyes in my safe for years. I ended up moving to NC and decided it was time to fix the Colt. I had found Matt, with Infectious Design, on a search for local Cerakote shops and called. He was very accommodating in finding a good time to meet and discuss the work. His prices were great, and much less than what I had paid for the brownish-purple coat. He discussed the work to be done and the timeline (which he was actually completed a week earlier than expected). The pistol has special engravings of the unit crest, the division crest, and deployment info. All of which was half filled in by the previous shop. All the engravings are NOW perfectly shown and in excellent detail. There are no flaws and the pistol all came together with very minimal effort. The Colt is now the prize of my collection thanks to Matt!
