Employees are friendly and helpful, firearm prices are better than they have ever been, but transfer fees($35 + $15 per additional on same form) are atrocious. Have been a loyal customer since Mike opened this first shop, preferring to do business here than with our local big box stores. Had no major problems, until today.I bought a Micro Roni conversion accessory on Tuesday, learned that it wasn't the one I needed, and had my request for return/refund denied on Thursday of the same week(today). Despite the item being unused, having never been removed from the box. Have returned accessories to this store multiple times in the past, even a Glock 20 once when they incorrectly ordered me a CA compliant model. Have never been told there were no refunds, until this specific incident. Owner should be more consistent, not pick and choose when the return policy is honored.Lost this customer, in addition to any future referrals or positive reviews I would have given.

I absolutely cannot recommend this dealer.Excalibur Outdoors appears to be unable to handle a simple FFL transfer,.They recently took over what used to be Gun Envy on Indianola, where I used to do quite a bit of business - this is now the Columbus location of Excalibur Outdoors. The staff at the Columbus location is the same as always, but since the merger/name change, it is an absolute mess doing business there.Nobody on the phone at Excalibur knew where to find a copy of the FFL for the Columbus Location. I was eventually told to e-mail the owner directly, which I did, asking specifically that he forward the FFL for the Columbus location to some specific shippers.The owner sent the information for the Circleville location, and then tried to blame the shippers for using the incorrect address. I confirmed with both of them the details of the mailing/shipping information they received directly from the owner - wrong FFL in both cases.The guns are due to arrive in Circleville today, and the owner told me they would have them sent to Columbus 'this week'. Rather than risk any further hassle, I'm just going to take the hour drive to get them out of their hands ASAP.I will update this review if they make it worth my trouble, but otherwise I will absolutely be finding a new local to handle my non-C&R transfers.

Dont take your gun here to be repaired. Took them a month to return my firearm to tell me to call glock and have them repair it. Charged me 45+tax again they did nothing to it. Then when I call Glock and explain what the firearm was doing they tell me its normal for new Glock 29s to do. So in short they have no idea what there doing and charge you for nothing. Will not be returning.

Small, local, friendly, and good customer service. Unlike my experiences at Vances, your more then just a number at Excalibur.
