I came in to secure a membership and purchase a firearm. Mike was extremely helpful and made the process a piece of cake. If you visit, he's sure to be of great assistance.

Absolutely fantastic group of folks! Im a Maryland resident, and the way state law reads (at the time of this review), standard capacity magazines are legal to own, but you have to purchase them outside of the state. If you havent been in yet, Freedom definitely has a decent selection to choose from. The ubiquitous Magpul PMAGs were well stocked and reasonably priced. They even had some harder to find magazines; Im a CZ shooter and the usual box stores (Bass Pro, Cabelas, etc) very rarely have CZ75 magazines in stock. Unlike the AR mags, prices were VERY steep, and on this trip, I did have to pass on the CZ magazines. However, they are willing to order magazines, and the $50 CZ mag was name brand; as I get more comfortable with the staff on subsequent trips Ill have to follow up and see what their pricing would be for the Mec Gar brand equivalent. For the Maryland folks reading, Freedom is willing to ship items to FFLs in your home state; Ill be taking them up on this offer soon as they have much better pricing on Glocks than any of my local FFLs, and Ill have standard, unrestricted magazines to go with my purchase. Freedom has their own brand of suppressors, and having felt a few are lighter than many competitors from the big names in the business and, according to their testing, perform better than many of the big boys do, at competitive or lower price points. While I dont currently have anything in my safe I wish to suppress, Im definitely going to keep Freedom in mind for when I do. Ron was a delight to work with; in part due to my experiences in big box stores Im always a bit leery of the old man behind the counter. Ron was very knowledgeable, gave me a few pointers for pro-2A groups in Maryland he felt were worth supporting, helped me find some specific ammo (which was priced competitively) for an SBR (which tend to prefer heavier rounds than the standard 55 gr), and showed me a few items they have in stock that are approved in Maryland, one of which (a CMMG pistol) will likely be one of my next purchases, after a Glock. My interaction with Dave was a bit shorter, but he blew me away with his knowledge of suppressors; while I wont be purchasing a suppressor directly through Freedom (those pesky NFA laws would make it rather cost- and time- prohibitive), I will be purchasing a Freedom suppressor through a home state FFL when I find or acquire something to suppress. I cant yet comment on the range, as I havent shot here, yet. Looking around the rest of the shop briefly on my way out, a pretty solid selection of holsters, range bags, and safes all caught my eye. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Keep up the great work guys!

If I could do a 0 I would. Horrible customer service. From the time I walked in the door, 2 of the 5 people working looked at me and said nothing. And browsing the cases for a few moments, not one person who was works even acknowledged me being in the store. I went to spend money and now they won't get it. Do go in. Don't give them your business. Worst customer service I've had in a long time. I will find another gun store who appreciates me being in their store and will take the time to know I'm there...
