Took my 9 year old son to get his first .22 plinker at Petes Firearms, after researching all the local gun stores in the area. Petes was actually my third choice, but he happened to be the only one open on a Sunday - and boy am I glad I went there! I was in the market for a .22 rifle. The selection of .22 guns was awesome, and the prices were insane! I went in expecting to spend between $100 and $200, but when my son saw the gun of his dreams, Mike didnt hesitate to make sure he got his gun at my price point. No haggles, no pressures, and Mike seriously was like a best friend. I also happened to compare the price of a pistol that I recently purchased at a competitor, and I wish I had known about Petes then, because he had it $50 less than Dicks, Gander, and even Johnsons - New! So Petes has a loyal customer from this point on; I also intentionally waited a few weeks to write this after putting through 500+ rounds, and the gun is still tried and true. On a side note, Mike inadvertently sold me the wrong ammo, caught his own mistake, and gave it to me discounted because of his mistake.
