Our granddaughter has so much fun feeding the fish and ducks. The underwater viewing is fun when people above are feeding.

A great place to visit and learn about fish hatcheries...sadly because of the virus some parts were closed...that is why only 4 stars.

Plenty of free parking, free admission, grounds open dawn to dusk - plenty to see. Bring quarters to feed the fish (vending machines with fish food). Plan on two hours. There's a couple short out and back trails (500 yards +-), a fish window, open ponds with fish & ducks, and an old 30 foot boat. The buildings include a gift shop, museum, old hatchery building, old restored train car, and an old Victorian house. Note that there is an adjoining city park with a shallow creek folks play in, a paved walking trail, picnic tables & shelters, a playground, bathrooms- very well-maintained.
