We've known Doug for a number of years beginning with the start up of our IDPA club in St. Albans, Vermont, 6 years ago. We've enjoyed watching his civilian training goals become reached and passed. He's been fun to be around, and has been a huge help to us and the rest of his Vermont community by offering his teaching skills and experience to us on a regular basis. We enjoy his laid back, understated, expertise and his ability to tailor the instruction to multiple proficiency levels within the same class.We all miss him, either taking his classes or shooting along side him in competition.Vermont's loss is Texas's gain.

Doug is an excellent instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take a training class. I've found his classes to be well planned and taught in an easy to digest format that allows all skill levels to be challenged and have some good take aways.
