Freer Gun Shop

I should've have listened to the previous review because it does seem like the lady does act like she has alzheimers. I was calling around to see how much people charge to check my shotgun because it is damaged. She said to me that they do not charge to check it. Suprise! They couldn't fix my shotgun and charged me $48 dollars on top of that. Really? I told her two times that she had told me they don't charge to check them out and she just stares at me rudely! I dont recommend because they cant keep up with the times. All of their guns are old and they can't work on newer models. If i could rate 0 i would. Not to mention the 30 min it took me to get here. Not happy. Not happy.

I have called everyone in Houston looking for a particularly difficult item to find. Anette Freer was the first person to be knowledgeable on the subject and sent me to a business partner of hers who was immediately able to assist me. That level of customer service is extraordinarily rare! Thank you Mrs. Freer.

Honest straight forward people.

I took my eight year old gun in for a simple repair and was told off the bat it needed to be cleaned. I asked the lady to fix the hammer/slide on my shotgun and she mandated a cleaning. Fine - I agreed. When I picked up the gun, they told me the barrel would not come off and therefore I needed to call Browning to identify a resolution. I called Browning, turned around, went back to the gun shop, and explained to her and the man working there exactly what Browning instructed. Neither of them were willing to listen to me nor take the time to complete the five minute task I requested. After $160 spent, I expect better customer service. I brought the gun home and did exactly what Browning told me and the barrel came right off - no issues. I called them back to let them know it worked and was yelled at. I will never return to this gun shop, I will call Browning to let them know they should stop directing people here, and I will never refer them based on their poor customer service.
