Awesome, fresh seafood in central Texas! The chef is consistently very good especially with the soups and chowders and occasionally masterfull as with the sauteed flounder. The fried shrimp compares with high end restaurants on the coast for freshness and seasoning. Fresh, fresh, fresh gulf oysters on the half shell are amazing!

Who would ever expect to see expertly prepared, fresh seafood in a small, central Texas town, in a gun store? Red snapper, flounder, redfish, halibut, trout, etc. in weekly specials. Outstanding bisques and soups. The fried shrimp and oyster combo poorboy is my frequent choice; reminds me of New Orleans. Don't be in a hurry, though; this is leisurely, family style dining.
