Avoid this place at all costs. I took my son's gun in Wednesday the 2nd of December for Cerakote after calling them the day before explaining that I needed the gun back by Christmas, it was my son's Christmas present. I told them if they couldn't get it done, no problem I would take it somewhere else. They assured me that it would be no problem. I drove from Gig Harbor to Lacey to drop it off. When I walked in, I was less than impressed and immediately had second thoughts. The place looks more like a Walmart after they announce a snow storm is coming than a gun shop, almost nothing on the shelves. A nice guy there helped me out. AGAIN, I made it clear that if it couldn't be done by Christmas I'd take it somewhere else, no big deal. He assured me it would, he even said it would be ready the following week. I filled out the paperwork and left. 7 days later, I was in the Olympia area and decided to stop by and check on it. I walked in, the same guy helped me, but this time his attitude had changed and said to me, no it isn't ready, you only dropped it off a couple days ago. Maybe that's what their problem is, they translate a week into "only a couple of days". So again, I said it will be done by Christmas, right? And again, he said yes, we are aware it needs to be done by Christmas. Another week goes by, then on Saturday the 19th, I get a call and immediately the excuses start. Everything from their computers went down and caused them to get backed up, to revolvers are too hard to disassemble and take too much time and whatever other crap he tried to throw at me. He assured me that I could bring it back and it would be done sometime after the first of the year, I laughed. I think sometime after the first of the year in their minds is June. I drove down today, the 22nd and picked it up. I was told that they should be caught up in January and they could do it then. Again, I laughed. All they had to do was tell me they couldn't get it done when I called them at the beginning of the month, no big deal. I would have gone somewhere else, but they didn't and PROMISED me it would be done by Christmas. I did some research on this company after they called on Saturday and said they couldn't get it done. I sure wish I read the reviews on this shoddy operation before I trusted them at their word. They have a serious problem with not being able to deliver what they promise. What happened to me has happened to plenty of others, excuse after excuse. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this place, you will be disappointed if you do. The same way my son is going to be come Christmas.
