Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks

I have sent three shotguns to Roberts Custom Gunworks. These folks provide high quality, timely and consistent work. The work is finished before, or on, the dates promised and their communication is outstanding and friendly. They are, and will continue to be, my gunsmith of choice.

They do good work, BUT they don't care about the small guy. I will not use them again and I will not recommend them to a friend. I'm a repeat customer. Sent my brother's gun in to be customized for a Christmas present in AUGUST. I called once every 2 weeks starting in November and was always told 10-14 weeks. Never once was I told it was delayed. Then 14 weeks go by, I call and they're going to check in on it - but promise it'll ship out the next week. The entire time I was polite and patient. Three weeks go by, they try to blame the FFL dealer the week before the hunt (who tried to pay for the gun a month ago so it could be shipped ASAP), and now the gun isn't ready for my brother's guided hunt in Oklahoma. It MAY get there for the last day of his hunt. Not one person apologized. Not one person said sorry about the delay, we'll do our best. They DEFINITELY didn't offer to overnight it. They don't need the business. If you don't care about getting lied to repeatedly, they still do awesome work. Just gotten too big for the small guy.

Great Experience dealing with Rob Roberts. They can be tough to get a hold of, but follow the instructions on the website and they will follow through on their end. I was extremely pleased with the 2 shotguns I sent to them!

After purchasing 3 of the same chokes in error while on a trip to the US I contacted Rob Robert's from Ireland and Doug sorted out my problem. Superb 5 star customer service.

Poor customer service at best.
