Would be nice if they put something on their website saying you can only come by appointment only. I did eventually find it on their website, but you have to dig. If you click on the google website link, it takes you to their Fountain Valley page which says nothing about the closure. Drove all the way up there just to find a sign on the door saying no walk-ins. Then they want you to purchase the rifle online and wait 2-3 weeks for an appointment to do the paperwork, then you have to wait the 10 day waiting period and get another appointment to pick it up. Usually have a good experience at this store, but this seems like a waste of time.

I was in the market for a shotgun and decided to go with Riflegear. I bought my first lower from them many years ago when it was not as big a showroom. I remember the customer service from that purchased and was happy with the service. I purchased my shotgun online and 2 days later I was given an appointment to come in to start the DROS. Completing the DROS was quick and easy. 2 days later I get a call asking me about setting up an appointment to pick up my shotgun based on the avg wait time they've been experiencing from CA DOJ for a background to clear. Long story short, it has been a GREAT experience. I recommend giving it a try(Update: DROS came back with no delay other than our standard 10 day CA wait time. Appointment for signing out my purchase was quick. The associate had me sign a few forms and do the safety demonstration (loading/unloading). I was out under 30 min. I definitely recommend giving them a chance. Also, if you're new to purchasing firearms. Check out the information on their website that explains the process before proceeding with a purchase. Saves you headaches)

Went here a few weeks back and my experience was great. Staff was so friendly and made it even better. Even the customers were very nice and was all around a great time. I live 40 minutes away and I have 2 other places I can shoot but I will be coming here from now on. Definitely recommend this place.

I bought my first gun from them in July. I was little intimidated to go in at first since I am a new shooter. The staff though was extremely helpful and friendly. The store itself has a nice selection.
