John was really great and hooked me up with a good price for a glock and AR. This was my first gun purchase in California experience and John was kind and answered all of my questions. The great thing about getting a custom gun from Trucks and Guns is that they allow you to pick the color and serial number. I picked a navy blue for the upper and lower and it came out fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to Trucks and Guns.

John has really helped my create my dream 9mm AR build! When I came in (in early April during COVID) he had my handrail, buffer tube, upper, and lower receiver done within 2 weeks and at half the cost of any competition (not to mention this was after he was in a motorcycle accident). John wants perfection and it shows with his work, he's definitely my go to gunsmith for any future gun project I got! 10/10 would recommend!

When I first got in touch with him, made it clear all i wanted was a lower with lower parts installed, was told no problem, only thing was everything is being done through appointment, i had no issue with it, we agreed on a thursday because i still work 5 days a week and hes closed saturdays and sundays. On thursday i called 30 minutes prior to let him know i might be 5 min late, he said he never actually wrote down our appointment but if i wanted hed put the product online and then id just come in to file out my info and done, well he put up a full AR kit for $600 which is not what i wanted, then multiple times i emailed him, he only replied after i sent an image that had an anti 2A representetive, he then asked me to call him on mknday to make an appoi tment, which he didnt pick answer. I understand if its a one man shop, but multiple times i tried to contact through phone and email. I figured a simple lower wouldnt make him much money so he didnt think his time would be worth it. He did tell me at one point he got whiplash somehow, but this was about 2 weeks from initial contact. To the owner, you can counter this with excuses but dont try and make this review change. I understand businesses are having to change the ways they work and its hard sometimes during these unlawful governemnt regulations,, but for you to be unable to sell a simple lower for longer then a month is pretty pathetic.
