Gold Medal Is A Family And Locally Owned Gun & Ammo Retailer Tucked Away Off Old Daytona In A Nondescript Corrugated Steel Building At The DeLand Municipal Airport. When I Stepped In To This Shop The Power Had Been Out For Hours Due To Afternoon Thunderstorms. Despite The Heat And His Lunch In Front Of Him He & The Mrs. Took The Time To Help Me Choose A Weapon That Was The Most Realiable & Affordable. For My Needs. This Was Followed By An At Length Discussion Of Current Statues Regulating The Class Of Weapon Purchased, And How Important It Is To Adhere To The Law. The Service Was Friendly, Knowledgeable, And Spot-On. This Was Followed-Up By A Phone Call Informing Of Whether Or Not I Would Still Be Required As A Military (Navy) Veteran To Attend Concealed Weapons Course In Order To Hold A Permit. It Doesn't Get Much Better Than That Around DeLand Folks.This Is Where You Should Check Your Next Purchase.
