I have nothing but great things to say about Mike and Marie. I have taken a couple of classes from them and plan to take more. They are natural teachers. If you want to increase your knowledge and improve your shooting skills definitely take a class from them.

I was looking for a gunsmith for to install a part that required some special tools and skills. Contacted Defensive Specialties and received a call back within an hour. Set up appointment for the next business day. Mike provided great service in removing existing gas piston that required a drill press and installed new part. He shared a few valuable advices on reloading and load development. I am very impressed with his knowledge and quality of work.If you have a need for a gunsmith, I do recommend to contact Mike or Marie.Thank you Mike for your time and patience. The team at Defensive Specialties delivered a well-organized and professionally-delivered Basic Rifle Course followed by a Rifle Instructor Course. They are caring, motivated, and passionate about their subject matter and are also great instructors for youths and beginning shooters/instructors. Three days well spent!
