Kudos to the owners and staff at Georgia Gun Store. I have been a shopper and a customer for several years and from the first visit I was impressed with their pricing, the selection, and the way they treat their customers. I have made several purchases from Ga Gun Store over the years and have yet to see a better price elsewhere for something I bought here. I have also traded and sold guns to them, and they were always more than fair with me. This store is locally owned by a Veteran and his family, and their business model is a winner. Fair prices, friendly service, and no BS. If you are shopping for a gun or related accessories, you can't go wrong to shop here first! I am giving 5 stars because 6 isn't an option!

Great friendly folks, eager to help with answers to my newbie questions. Good inventory, even in these high demand times. I have now become a gun owner, and I will shop there again!

I live an hour away and one of the best things about this store is that their online inventory/shop is much more accurate than any other gun store I've seen. They use their own code and they don't have the cheaper-looking online inventory that carries the same or worse prices no matter which gun store you check. It was very straightforward and lets you know which items are in the retail store and which ones are in the warehouse... all with the low price at the bottom (for some you might have to request the price)! So even though I lived quite a distance away, browsing online made it almost as good as going in-person.For the actual gun store, they don't hold your hand, which is a great thing. They have a rifle display in the corner where they actually let you handle the firearms! Granted, almost all of them don't have their bolts included in the display so you can't check the action immediately. I'm sure that if I didn't know which rifle I wanted, I would be helped and they would put in the bolt for me to try.Compared to other gun stores, the checkout process is faster and simpler. At Georgia Gun Store, I will just say that each staff member was moving with a purpose. They weren't taking any unnecessary steps and they don't try to insult your intelligence by walking you through checkout, saving time in the process. If you already knew what to do with the form, they simply ask for the required identification and you're done. Other gun stores wouldn't even let me touch the rifle if I didn't explicitly say I would be purchasing it then and there. How can anyone make an intelligence purchase without first handling a firearm? As I watched them let another customer handle a handgun, I noticed they also aren't rude to customers about dry firing a weapon, which is completely safe on the weapon and lets you feel the trigger pull, the break, and the reset an important part about deciding whether you like the weapon or not. On a side note, dry firing is safe on 99.99% of all centerfire and even some rimfire weapons people! We don't live in the 80s anymore and modern firearms can handle it; check your manuals. Buying without being able to feel the trigger pull on a weapon is like buying a car without test driving it. I'm glad to see this store is a lot more progressive.Anyway, I walked home with a Tikka T3X CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor because they simply had the best price. I spent too many hours just looking online and their prices just couldn't be beat. Below $500, you're saving around 20-60 dollars. For anything above $500, you can save a heck of a lot more (100+ dollars). When others hike prices because of the pandemic, they keep theirs low. I almost thought it was a pricing error when I saw a Tikka T3X Lite being sold for $150 less than everywhere else I looked.I think the only thing that could be improved is the wait time on moving warehouse items to the retail store. It's understandable though, as they prioritize customer service first and they make time for the people inside. They also won't pick up the phone if they're all occupied with helping others, but that's just the way it goes with small but tight-knit staff. I highly suggest visiting in-person after browsing their accurate online inventory. Always shop around, but I guarantee this place will definitely be on your list.
